Oy vey!! It has been many months since I have posted here. I have managed to change all names to monikers for the safety and sanity of my family members but I believe I haven't ANY readers!! So, if you are family and have found your way back, yaaaaa! And, Go Hogs! If you are fellow bloggers and have found me, please bear with me as I learn your ways and improve.

Changes
If you have visited my site lately you have noticed the obvious lack of posting. That will be changing soon. Because this blog has been private, I have noticed that I am getting very little to no traffic. I am in the process of replacing names to protect my loved ones identities and afterwards will make this blog public. Love you all!!!

Down by the River
Every year during Memorial Day weekend, Little Rock puts on a festival down by the river called Riverfest. It has been our tradition for many years now to trudge on down, watch novelty shows, listen to live music and eat junk. My favorites are the roasted corn, funnel cakes and cajun pitas. Later in the day I nurse the bottle of mylanta stored in the refrigerator! Here are some shots taken by Hubby when he and the kids braved a hot day while I was at work.

Where the heart is
We have been looking at houses lately, some within our means and some just for fantasizing. We are outgrowing our sweet little box, but I can't help but love it. We brought both of the kids home here after their births. Mamaw Bert and Gramma Berry were both here to cradle dear Son as a baby. Hubby built us a fine deck out back to wile away warm days and nights. The flower beds are full of flowers lovingly tended to over the years. I have lived in this house longer than any other in my lifetime. It's funny how I change my mind about leaving it from day to day. When I am wading through each crowded room and waiting for my turn in the bathroom I dream of more space. Today, I love this little house and chase away the thoughts of leaving it.
