I've got the world on a string...

Hubby and I celebrated our anniversary this month by having a delicious dinner at the Terrace and catching Micheal Buble in concert. It was a wonderful evening. Grant took our picture before we went out, and I caught a little video clip during the concert.

Spring Snow

We have had some weird weather lately, one day it is warm and sunny, the next we get several inches of snow. We've been fortunate to not have tornados or floods like other parts of the state though. The kids had lots of fun along with their neighborhood friends, and they missed two days of school!

Tea Time

Here are some scenes from a sweet birthday party DD went to. The "ladies" picked out an evening gown, jewelry and hat, applied makeup and ate and drank from real china.

Stallions on Parade

The kids and I went to see the Lippizaner Stallions recently. The show was just "eh", DD was funny. Hubby had told her before the show that the horses would be wearing hats, jumping through hoops of fire and riding other horses. She was a little disappointed that they only "danced" ballet and performed fancy footwork.

January Climb

We climbed Pinnacle Mountain a couple of weekends ago. It was a beautiful windy day. We watched birds soaring and spent a long time at the top in silence, drinking in the scenery.
