I Vant You To Have Fun!

We hosted a halloween party for the neighborhood kids and their parents. We had goolish treats like witches fingers, cheese ball spiders and a dismembered hand with blood and maggots (cream cheese with coctail sauce and tiny shrimp). We played wrap the mummy and had a haunted house under the deck.

On My Honor...

That's my guy on the right

Gotta have that goofy shot!

Tonight Dear Son recieved merit badges (fishing, leatherwork and space exploration) along with rank advancements of Scouting and Tenderfoot. We are very proud of his accomplishments. Isn't he so handsome in his uniform?

Little Pleasures

Today Daugter and I had a little time to kill after school and before picking up Son so we stopped by the neighborhood park. She decided to build a little house for the squirrels, she was so cute. The weather is fall like now and I just enjoyed watching her and feeling the breeze.

Saturday Friends and Football

We went tailgating before the game Saturday, it was very hot and humid, but we managed to kick back and have a great time. Here is my friend M and her husband S, Hubby and Brother #2 at our little site.

Go Hogs Go!

Today we are going to tailgate and watch the Razorbacks take on Tennessee-Chatanooga. The game is sold out. I'm feeling much better about the events of the other night. I was sitting around stressing over it when suddenly I felt a wave of peace when I began thinking...she lived, she lived, she lived. Thankfully the end result was a happy one. Pictures will be posted after the game! WOOOOO PIG SOOOOIE...RAZORBACKS!!!!!

Just Breathe

Today was the worst day of my short nursing career. My patient "coded" at the end of my shift and came very close to dying. Without the fast reaction of the code team and my peers she would have died. I am a wreck and wonder if I really want to do this for a living. Now, after being home for half an hour I am getting calls from the ICU where the patient was transferred to with nit-picking complaints about how the transfer was performed. Thankfully I am off for a few days and can re-coop. Just needed to vent.
